The airport cargo building found a suspected cargo during the cargo security screening today at 13:00 and immediately reported the case to the Public Security Police Force (CPSP) and the Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with the airport emergency plan. The airport emergency operations centre was activated to handle the situation, with the CPSP as the commander.
The CPSP evacuated the people in the cargo building. After careful inspection on the suspected cargo, the item was proved to be safe and declared not a dangerous item.
The CPSP removed the cordon at the airport cargo building at 16:10 and the cargo screening operations resumed normal right after.
