The Forum on Chain and Franchise Business Opportunities of International Brands Focusing on the Innovative and Financing Ways in Driving Brand Development

The MFE “Forum on Chain and Franchise Business Opportunities of International Brands” attract many local and overseas participants every year

The “Forum on Chain and Franchise Business Opportunities of International Brands”, one of the highlights of the Macao Franchise Expo 2019 (2019MFE), will be held at the Naples Room of the Venetian Macao at 3pm on 26 July.

The Forum will be joined by franchise associations and companies, financial institutions, start-ups and inno-tech enterprises from the Mainland China, Macao, Brazil, Portugal, Japan, Singapore and other regions. Leveraging on Macao’s “Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” and featured finance, as well as the opportunities arising from the inno-tech development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the participants will explore and share practical approaches and experience regarding financing franchising business, and how startups cultivate their brands, as well as how inno-tech supports brands’ development.

Financing Analyses, Financing Strategy for Franchising Business

The first discussion session will focus on strategies of financing franchise business. Albert Kong, Executive Council Member of Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) will be the moderator of this session, which will be joined by Susan Su, Director of Franchise Committee Office of the Franchise & Entrepreneur Department, China Chain Store & Franchise Association, Cristina Maria Matos, CEO of Portuguese Franchise Association, Bruno Amado, International Project Manager of Brazilian Franchise Association, Kyo Ito, Chairman of Franchise Committee in Tokyo Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultants Association, and António Duarte, Director of Leasing of Banco Nacional Ultramarino S.A., to share their tips and experience in financing franchise business.

Inno Star, Harnessing Innovation for Development & InnoTech for Branding

The second discussion session will be moderated by Jerome Yen, Head of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Macau and joined by representatives of several startups and InnoTech companies including Tianlan Chen, CEO of Digifluidic Bio-Technology Limited, Kammy Cheong, General Manager of Barra Creative Technology and Design Limited, Ao Chi Hong, CTO of UTRAN-I Technology Limited, and Crystal Kwok, Founder of 2048 (Macau), Limited, who will be sharing how they build their brands and support brand development with innovative approaches and technologies.

Simultaneous interpretations in Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese, English and Japanese are available at the Forum. In addition, the Forum will be live broadcasted on NetEase Broadcast Channel.
