A by-election for a seat in the Legislative Assembly is to be held at the Macau Forum building, according to Executive Order No. 139/2019 published in today’s Macao SAR Gazette.
The by-election is to take place on 24 November. It relates to a seat allocated to the industrial, commercial and financial sector, under the indirect-election portion of the electoral system.
Individuals interested in standing for election can apply for permission to have a nomination committee formed on their behalf. The application period runs until Wednesday (28 August).
