Starting October, Social Service Centres Stop Providing Services Relating to the Special Allocation from Budget Surplus

The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) announced that its temporary counters set up at the Social Service Centres for providing services relating to the non-mandatory central provident fund system’s special allocation from 2019 budget surplus would be closed starting October. Members of the public can go to a service point of the FSS or a public service centre, or they may also make use of the self-service machine to handle the related services.

The temporary counters of the FSS set up at the Social Welfare Bureau’s Social Service Centres and Ha Wan Baptist Church Social Service Centre for providing services relating to the non-mandatory central provident fund system’s special allocation from 2019 budget surplus will be closed starting from 1st October. Members of the public may continue to go to the temporary office of the FSS at Tap Seac, Macao Government Services Centre at Areia Preta, Macao Government Services Centre in Islands, six Public Services Centres and Stations under the Municipal Affairs Bureau at Northern, Central and Islands Districts, or make use of the self-service machines located citywide to make enquiries, apply for fund withdrawal and register for automatic withdrawal of funds.

Approved applicants for fund withdrawal who are aged 75 or older, who have been receiving disability pension from the FSS for more than one year, or those who are currently receiving special disability subsidy from the Social Welfare Bureau will be paid on 23rd October, where the approved applicants aged between 65 and 74 will be paid on 27th November.

To check the name list of special allocation from 2019 budget surplus for the non-mandatory central provident fund system or to get more information, members of the public may visit the FSS website at www.fss.gov.mo, or call 2853 2850 during office hours for enquiries.
