PLPEX provides exhibitors with a platform to “go global”

The “Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao)” builds a platform for exchange and co-operation for enterprises

The “2019 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao)” (2019PLPEX) will be held between 17th and 19th October at The Venetian Macao. Many exhibitors and suppliers agree that PLPEX creates a comprehensive platform that allows the enterprises to co-operate, exchange ideas, and successfully “go global”, thus expanding their business.

Mr. Lei, a representative of a Macao-based wholesale and retail company of foreign products, said that after participating in PLPEX for the last four years where he had successfully reached agreements with suppliers from Portuguese-speaking Countries, the co-operation between them has increased in recent years, and the volume of his business has been rising. Therefore, he will continue to be an exhibitor in PLPEX this year to showcase the distinctive red clay ceramics from Portuguese-speaking Countries. At the same time, he will look for new products from Portuguese-speaking Countries at the exhibition which he can introduce to Macao and continue to seek partners through the promotion platform of PLPEX.

Mr. Sou, who is the head of an agency company for foodstuff from Portuguese-speaking Countries, said that it was the third year for him to participate in PLPEX. The previous participation has allowed the company to engage with customers and achieve satisfactory business transactions. This year, his company will showcase new products from Portuguese-speaking Countries with the hope of co-operating with more restaurants and retailers in the manner of B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) to bring products and culture to the Chinese market.

Mr. Hoi, an experienced PLPEX participant running a company selling wine and beverages from Portuguese-speaking Countries, believes that PLPEX is a large-scale exhibition in Macao that links up Mainland China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries. This year it once again takes place concurrently with the 24th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (24th MIF), creating synergistic effects that make it an event not to be missed. For his company, it is an exhibition platform that can help expand markets and enhance “soft power”.For enquiries, please call the PLPEX Administrative and Service Centre on +853-2882 8711, e-mail to: info@plpex.mo or visit the official website www.plpex.mo.
