Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau encourage and discover more artists to participate in cultural creative arts and design. Communications Museum organizes the contest every year from the year of 2013. This contest is a hand-painted extended creation competition based on the theme and content presented in the selected stamp or souvenir sheet. From 2013 to 2019, we have received a total of 1,227 pieces of original work for participation.
Starting from December 16, the Exhibition will display 192 pieces of artwork at the Temporary Gallery of Communications Museum. Besides showing the winner of First, Second, Third Prize and Appreciation Awards of Children, Youth and General Group in total 129 paintings, we also selected 63 works of artistic merit from the entries submitted during those years. The authors use stamps with their drawing skills and techniques to make the original theme more prominent, bringing new perspective to stamps, creating and drawing new stories.
“The exhibition will be opened at noon on December 16th by the Director of CTT, Ms Lau Wai Meng, the President of Macau Artist Society, Mr. Lok Hei and Stamp Designer, Mr. Kenny Lee. Welcome everyone to visit the Communications Museum during the opening hours!
