The Consumer Council released the first “Supermarket price survey report” of Fátima Parish in January. Surveyed data included prices, price differences and promotional offers of over 200 products from 14 supermarkets in the Parish. Consumers may now check the report data on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo), the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app, or the Council’s WeChat account.
The Council divides its monthly supermarket price survey work into two parts and collect prices from local supermarkets 8 times a month, each supermarket will be surveyed twice and over 200 price data will be collected each time to be used in the “Supermarket price survey report”. The Council releases the said report once the survey work is completed.
The hard copy of “Supermarket Price Survey Report” is also available free of charge at the main office of the Consumer Council and local libraries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau.
