In accordance with Chief Executive Writ of Instruction no. 487/2016, advance booking for import inspection of the products listed in Annex 3 of the mentioned Writ of Instruction is required to be made to competent authorities. In regard to applications for advance booking for inspection of food products, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will move the locations for applications from the original Integrated Services Centre in China Plaza, Macao Government Services Centre in Islands and Northern District Public Services Centre to the inspection office of IAM on the 5th floor of the new wholesale market in Avenida do Parque Industrial in Macao on 30 and 31 January, so as to continue to receive applications from the trade.
In view of the latest situation of pneumonia cases of the novel coronavirus infection and to facilitate the preventive and control measures, civil servants will be exempted from work from 30 to 31 January in accordance with the Chief Executive Writ of Instruction. During this period, Integrated Services Centre in China Plaza, Macao Government Services Centre in Islands and Northern District Public Services Centre will be temporarily closed to the public. As the import inspection of live and fresh food products and animal-derived food products is directly related to food safety and the maintenance of stable supply, IAM will continue to receive applications for import license / declaration and advance booking for inspection (of food products). The service location will be moved to the inspection office of IAM on the 5th floor of the new wholesale market in Avenida do Parque Industrial in Macao. The office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with no lunch break. Applicants and food importers are reminded to pay attention to the relevant arrangement.
