Social Welfare Bureau, TDM and Deaf Association promote instant sign language translation


In order to enable the deaf and the hearing-impaired to have immediate access to the development of the new coronavirus epidemic and the latest news on the government's response measures, Social Welfare Bureau, TDM and Macao Voice Association will cooperate from now on. During the press conference at 5pm every day held by the Coordination Centre for Viral Infection Response, the deaf and the hearing-impaired will learn the relevant information through the sign language interpreter broadcast live on the Chinese channel on TDM.

Social Welfare Bureau appeals to the public to actively take care of the special needs of people with various disabilities with epidemic information and epidemic prevention measures under the current situation that the new coronavirus epidemic poses a major threat to Macao society, and to provide assistance to them.
