Essential sevices provided by SWB during the period of 17th to 21st of February

Please be informed that during the said period SWB units will operate with following essential services:

• Subsidy for individuals and families in financial distress
• Individual and Family Counselling Service
• Financial assistance for funeral expenses
• Application for Disability Subsidy
• Service for victims of human trafficking
• Service provided in case of accidents and natural disaters
• Urgent intervention
• Social Service Facilities(Service application/request and case follow-up)
• Support service for users of residential facilities
• Application for Disability Assessment Registration Card
• Detoxification Treatment Service (methadone treatment and maintenance service and outpatient detoxification treatment service)
• Counselling Hotline for Problem Gambling
• Work or services regarding Social Re-integration ordered by judicial institutions for immediate execution
• Inspection of Social Service Facilities and coordination in epidemic prevention

As result of the reduction in the number of service units and personnel, it is recommended that citizens contact the SWB, through the Hotline, for consultation and prior appointment before going to the counter. The Social Welfare Bureau appeals to the understanding of the population in refraining themselves to come to the SWB for the application of services classified as non-urgent; advises the residents to remain at home to prevent the risk of contamination caused by the concentration of people.
