Starting noon Thursday ( tomorrow ) Macao to initiate medical examination and 14-day medical observation for arrivals who have visited Norway.
Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre - In view of the serious outbreaks of novel coronavirus COVID-19 infection in Norway recently, the Health Bureau requires that with effect from 12:00 on 12th March 2020, individuals who have travelled to Norway within the past 14 days prior to their entry into Macao must submit to medical examination in accordance with the stipulation of Article 10 of Law no. 2/2004 – "Law on the Prevention, Control and Treatment of Infectious Diseases”.
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre reminds that individuals contravening with the above requirements may be subject to mandatory isolation in addition to corresponding criminal liabilities under the law.
