Registration Notice for Macao Residents currently studying in Europe and those currently travelling in Europe


In response to the most recent situation of the novel coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in several European countries, Hong Kong and Macao authorities have imposed medical observation and quarantine measures for those who were in Europe in the 14 days prior to their entry.

The Higher Education Bureau (DSES) and the Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) urges Macao residents currently studying in Europe, as well as those currently travelling in Europe and planning to return to Macao via Hong Kong international airport to register as soon as possible for entry facilitation.

Those who would like to register must hold a valid flight ticket with Hong Kong International Airport as destination, and arrival date on or before March 22, 2020. Information registration methods are as follows:

(1) Until 09:00 on March 16th, 2020: Call the 24 hour Tourism Hotline +853 2833 3000;
(2) From 09:00 on March 16th, 2020: Visit the website https://aeees.dses.gov.mo/HKMAC/ or call the 24 hour Tourism Hotline +853 2833 3000;
