Join the group and contact closely
In view of the global spread of new coronavirus pneumonia, the SAR Government is very concerned about the safety of Macao students who are attending basic education abroad. The Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) cooperates with the Higher Education Bureau to expand the current overseas student Telegram group of the Higher Education Bureau to include both overseas higher education students and overseas basic education students in the Telegram group. The SAR Government hopes to maintain closer communication and contact with Macao students who are attending basic education in different countries, timely announce the Government’s latest care measures and information on epidemic prevention; Macao students who are attending basic education abroad and their parents are called on to join the group. The DSEJ has set up a special website (https://s.dsej.gov.mo/qa/Q0000109/). After completing the personal and schooling information, students and parents will be invited to join the group of the corresponding district where they are attending school.
Pay attention to safety and prepare well for protection
The DSEJ reminds students and parents to pay close attention to the changes in the epidemic situation of the place where they are. Safety is the primary consideration. Try to stay in the residence as far as possible, avoid going out to reduce gatherings. Students should strictly observe and cooperate with the local epidemic prevention measures, pay attention to physical health, and take measures to protect personal health. If feeling unwell or having fever, a doctor should be consulted as soon as possible.
