Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the 31st Macao Arts Festival (MAF) sets off in May. Tickets are available at the Macau Ticketing Network from 10am on 28 March (Sunday). In order to cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control measures, and to safeguard the public health, ticketing service at the outlets, telephone and online booking will be available simultaneously from 10am on the first day of ticket sales. In order to reduce crowd gathering onsite, an online reservation system has been set up for the first day of ticket sales. Members of the public are required to reserve their ticketing slot from 25 March (Thursday) at 10am through the online reservation system of the Macau Ticketing Network.
In order to optimize ticketing arrangements of the MAF and offer the public a convenient ticketing service, the organizer launched diverse ticketing channels, including ticketing service at the outlets and online booking, simultaneously this year. An online reservation system has been set up from 25 March (Thursday) at 10am. Those who want to purchase tickets at the outlets from 10am to 3pm on the first day of ticket sales are required to reserve their ticketing slot with mobile phone number. Those who have successfully registered can buy tickets at their selected outlet accordingly. Those in need of assistance to reserve a ticketing slot can visit any Macau Ticketing Network outlet during business hours and the online platform’s opening period, and make the registration with the assistance of the staff. Furthermore, booking time slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each mobile phone number can only be registered once. Audience members can also choose to book their tickets via telephone or online, without pre-registration.
By optimizing ticketing arrangements and introducing diverse ticketing channels, the organizer hopes to further encourage residents to experience the convenience of e-governance and avoid crowd gathering. On the first day of ticket sales, ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of six tickets per performance per person. Ticket purchases for the show Property Guide at Lou Kau Mansion are limited to a maximum of two tickets per performance per person.
