In active support of the International Museum Day on 18 May, the Macao Grand Prix Museum, under the management of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), will join various local museums to present the “Macao International Museum Day Carnival 2021” at the Convention Center of Macao Science Center on 9 May. The International Museum Day is themed as “The Future of Museums: Recover and Reimagine” this year. MGTO will hold workshops promoting the Macau Grand Prix at the Carnival for participation of residents and visitors.
The Macao International Museum Day Carnival 2021 will take place at the Convention Center of Macao Science Center from 2 – 6 p.m. on 9 May. The Macao Grand Prix Museum under MGTO’s management will hold two workshops at the Carnival. Participants can creatively paint their unique model cars at the “Plaster model car painting” workshop or create their own keychains at the “Motorcycle keychain by shrink plastic” workshop, to bring home as keepsakes. Both workshops are held to promote the event of Macau Grand Prix and the Macao Grand Prix Museum.
Four sessions will be available for each of the two workshops, with each session lasting for about 45 minutes. The first and last sessions will start at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively. Each session will admit six pairs of parent-and-child participants. Interested parties are welcome to join the workshops for free and can sign up for the workshops on site at the Carnival, with quotas available on a first-come, first-served basis. For details about the Carnival, please visit the website of “Museums in Macao”: www.museums.gov.mo.
