IPIM Continues to Follow up and Optimise Works Related to Temporary Residency

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) attaches high importance to the sector regarding temporary residency in the Annual Report 2020 by the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC). IPIM will continue to follow up and optimise relevant works pro-actively.

In terms of reinforcing the supervision, IPIM has been reviewing approved temporary residency applications. All suspected situations found in the field inspection and case review are reported to the judicial organs for follow-up.

IPIM undertakes to ensure every step of the administrative procedure is lawfully implemented. Aside from supervising and reviewing approved temporary residency applications, it also strives to enhance the transparency of information regarding temporary residency application. Efficacy evaluation is also carried out in a regular basis in order to constantly perfect and optimise its administrative procedure.
