“Stay, Dine and See Macao” draws lots today for the second-phase Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour

19 local tour itineraries were launched for the second phase of the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project, with applications open since 17 June. A total of 3,496 Macao residents have applied for the “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” by the deadline at 6 p.m. last evening (20 June). In addition to the 14,486 residents who applied at the first phase but were not granted the chance for participation, a total of 17,982 residents are eligible for this round of electronic lots. Electronic lots were drawn at Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) at 10 a.m. today (21 June). MGTO Deputy Director Cheng Wai Tong joined hands with representatives of the Task Force comprising Macau Travel Agency Association, Association of Macao Tourist Agents and Travel Industry Council of Macau to press the button for lots casting.

17,982 applicants of the first and second phase were each assigned a sequence number randomly by the electronic lots. Applicants numbered 1 — 648 were each given two quotas for joining the local tour in July and August, amounting to 1,296 participants in total. Applicants can check out the list of No. 1 — 1,000 on MGTO’s website https://www.macaotourism.gov.mo from 3 p.m. today (21 June), while applicants numbered 1 — 648 in the list will be notified by the travel agencies concerned.

Given that the second-phase “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” will start on the first Saturday (3 July) in July, the listed applicants are required to confirm their date of participation and names of tour participants as well as complete the tour fee payment at corresponding travel agencies by 6 p.m. on 29 June. If listed applicants cannot complete the application formalities within the period, they will be regarded as giving up their quotas. The rest of the applicants numbered 649 and onwards on the list will take up the quotas in order, awaiting subsequent notification from the travel agencies concerned.

In July and August, the “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” will take place every Saturday and Sunday, setting off at three time slots (14:00/14:45/15:00). The participants must be aged between 4 – 80. For safety concerns, residents who are pregnant at 32 weeks or above are not allowed to join this tour. Participants can refer to the tour leaflet for the terms and conditions about tour participation. Every helicopter can accommodate up to 12 passengers. Participants will be assigned seats designated by helicopter staff upon arrival. In case of adverse weather conditions, applicants who have signed up for the tour are advised to stay tuned to the latest activity arrangements.

Local tours under the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project are operated in strict compliance with Health Bureau’s guidelines on pandemic prevention, including the requirements to wear masks, have the temperature checked and present Macao Health Code, among other measures, whereas holders of Macao Health Code in Red or Yellow Colour are not allowed to participate in the above tours.
