Notes about opening “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” account for minors on the Internet

Starting from 21 June 2021, the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) launched an online service for parents or guardian to open the “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” account for minors.

When opening the “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” account for minors on the Internet, it is necessary to input the information of the minor’s father/mother/guardian, and the person concerned also has to conduct facial recognition. When going through the procedures, if the system shows that “We were unable to verify the guardian relationship, please check the data entered”, it is needed to confirm whether the information of the relationship between the minor and the minor’s father/mother/guardian already exists in the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card record of the minor. The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) previously introduced the online kinship verification service for parents in need to lodge the application by logging in to their “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” account using the mobile application. Only the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card number of the minor children is needed when lodging the application. After successful application, applicants will receive the verification result within five working days. DSI will notify applicants of submitting additional documents if needed. The information of the verified relationship will be archived into the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card record of applicants and persons concerned.

Moreover, DSI reminds citizens that if there is any change in the parental right of the minor, the party who executes the parental right should inform DSI as soon as possible by declaring the execution of the parental right and providing the relevant proof. This information will be archived into the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card record of the person concerned.
