By applying for the use of Electronic Filing Service of the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao), employers can easily and quickly use the online system to file their obligatory system contributions, view and download the payment advice information of various types of contributions payable, and make payments through various electronic channels. In response to the entry into force of Law No. 2/2020 (Electronic Governance), the relevant system requires the use of entity user account of “My Government Account of Macao SAR” as the login account from now on.
The FSS has been actively working in line with the SAR Government in the development of e-government. With the promotion of the use of “My Government Account of Macao SAR”, in order to further facilitate residents to use and optimize the existing electronic services for simplifying the administrative work of the employer with a more convenient operation method, the entity user account of “My Government Account of Macao SAR” will be used as the login account to the FSS’s Electronic Filing Service.
Employers already applied to the FSS for the use of Electronic Filing Service can log in to the Electronic Filing System using the entity user account of “My Government Account of Macao SAR”, go through the filing procedures of the employment information of the employees under the obligatory system, enrol the employees as beneficiaries, download the information about the contribution payment advice, view the employment information of employees and the related payment records, and send the relevant information and documents to the FSS by electronic transmission. In addition, employers who have employed non-resident workers can also view and download from the same online system the List of Non-Resident Workers Required to Pay Employment Fee.
Employers who use the Electronic Filing Service can make their payments conveniently through electronic channels such as the AutoPay, online banking, ATMs of Jetco Network, and BOC EXPRESS of Bank of China, skipping the inconvenience of queuing up for payment. If an employer chooses to pay in person, the payment can also be made at the counters of nine designated banks in Macao, service points of the FSS, and Public Services Centres under the Municipal Affairs Bureau.
