The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, as of 19:00 today (6 August), a total of about 593,000 people have been sampled under the Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Programme, and a total of 283,000 specimens collected therefrom have been tested. The test results were all negative.
In addition, since 3 August 2021, about 102,000 people have opted for self-arranged testing outside the Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Programme. Altogether, the number of tested persons adds up to around 695,000.
