Persons with yellow health code despite having submitted to COVID-19 mass testing should get tested again on their own or register for follow-up as appropriate

In response to the inquiries from some members of the public that they still received a yellow health code after having completed testing for the Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Program, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as “the Centre”) said that participants of the community testing drive are required to register with either their Macao Resident Identity Card (for Macao residents) or the travel document that was used for entry into Macao (for non-Macao residents). The presence of yellow health code may be due to wrong identity document used in registration for the testing campaign, e.g. registration was done using Non-Resident Worker’s Identity Card (blue card), Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or others. In this case, the persons concerned need to undergo testing again on their own at one of the routine nucleic acid testing stations.

Apart from the situation stated above, individuals who have had their specimens collected in compliance with the procedures of the citywide testing program but still with their health code changed to yellow can send their personal information (including name, identity document number, sex, date of birth, sampling date, time and location, etc.) to 6333 7492 or 6333 7593 via SMS for verification and follow-up. The Centre reminded that these telephone numbers are to be used for information registration only; if there are any inquiries, please call the Centre’s hotline at 2870 0800.
