Sales platform for local cultural and creative products deployed in the Macau International Airport Open call for proposals for operation of the “Macao Good Shop” closes this Friday


The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), in cooperation with CAM - Macau International Airport Company Limited, will set up “Macao Good Shop”, a sales platform for Macao’s cultural and creative products, at the Macau International Airport. Open call for proposals for operation closes this Friday (17 September). Interested parties should take this opportunity and submit their proposals before the deadline.

The “Macao Good Shop—Macao Cultural and Creative Products Store” will be located in the restricted area of the departures level of the Macau International Airport, selling original local cultural and creative products, as well as IC’s publications, and promoting local cultural and creative products to more tourists and the general public, so as to enhance popularity and market competitiveness of Macao’s cultural and creative brands, and to promote the sustainable development of Macao’s cultural and creative industries. The selection of proposals will be made by the adjudicating panel based on comprehensive criteria. The selected candidates will be stationed at the “Macao Good Shop” at the Macau International Airport to coordinate the sale of original local creative and cultural products for a period of three years.

Applicants for the proposal of operation of the “Macao Good Shop—Macao Cultural and Creative Products Store” at the Macau International Airport must comply with the relevant terms and conditions stipulated in the application regulations. The adjudicating panel, composed of professionals and representatives of the Government and CAM, will select the applications based on the following criteria: feasibility, integrity, creativity and contribution to the promotion of Macao’s cultural and creative industries, degree of industrialization, diversity, originality and artistic and cultural content of the products, as well as the managing experience of the operators.
