New arrangements for the first day of ticket sales_01

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the Macao International Music Festival – Music October will be held in October. Tickets will be available through the Macau Ticketing Network from 10am on 25 September (Saturday). In order to cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control measures and to safeguard the public health, outlet ticketing, telephone and online booking will be available simultaneously from 10am on the first day of ticket sales. Meanwhile, in order to reduce crowd gathering onsite, an online reservation system has been set up for the first day of ticket sales. Members of the public who want to purchase tickets at the outlets from 10am to 12pm on that day are required to reserve their ticketing slot from 10am on 23 September (Thursday) through the online reservation system.

In order to cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control measures and to offer the public a convenient ticketing service, IC optimized ticketing arrangements for the Macao International Music Festival by introducing diverse ticketing channels, including ticketing service at the outlets and online booking, simultaneously this year, so as to further encourage residents to experience the convenience of e-governance. An online reservation system has been set up from 10am on 23 September (Thursday). Those who want to purchase tickets at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets from 10am to 12pm on the first day of ticket sales are required to reserve their ticketing slot and outlet with mobile phone number. Those who have successfully registered can buy tickets at their selected outlet accordingly. Those in need of assistance to reserve a ticketing slot can visit any of the Macau Ticketing Network outlets during business hours and the online platform’s opening period, and make the registration with the assistance of the staff. Booking time slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each mobile phone number can only be registered once. Pre-registration is not required if audience members choose telephone or online booking. On the first day of ticket sales, ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of six tickets per performance per person.

In addition, registration for the concerts FIMM-tastic Weekend: Music and Movie Nights and Grand Song of the Dong Ethnic Group in Conjiang, Guizhou can be made from 10am on 25 September to 5:30pm on 8 October through the “Activities Registration System” on IC’s website at www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event. Seats are limited. Each person can only register once for the performance per day and two places will be allocated per day. If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, a random draw will be conducted to determine the final list. Admission is free and seating for the performance is not assigned. Audience members must wear face masks, take temperature checks and present their “Health Code” of the day. All participants should maintain social distancing and appropriate personal hygiene.
