Suspension of “Stay, Dine and See Macao” local tours from today onwards “Light up Macao Drone Gala” will be postponed


Owing to the pandemic situation and in parallel with the Macao SAR Government’s latest work to contain and prevent the pandemic, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) announced that the local tours of the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project are suspended from 25 September onwards to safeguard public safety, for the public ’s kind attention. MGTO decided to postpone the “Light up Macao Drone Gala” until further notice for the latest arrangements. In addition, the Office has cancelled the World Tourism Day activities including the Tray Race and greeting the Lucky Tourists on 27 September, as well as the award ceremony for the Incubation Plan for Macao’s KOLs in Tourism on the same day.

From 25 September onwards, the Macao Grand Prix Museum and the Ritz Building, including the Tourist Information counter and exhibition hall within, are closed temporarily. The activities organized and supported by MGTO such as training camp, course, sharing session and festive activities are postponed as well until further notice.

MGTO is stepping up its patrols at hotels and guest houses to supervise their compliance with pandemic prevention measures, and once again reminds all the establishments concerned to observe and carry out prevention against COVID-19 strictly while paying close attention to the latest pandemic situation. In addition, emergency contacts of all the hotel establishments are prepared in hand for offering prompt assistance when necessary.

MGTO is paying close attention to the latest turn of the pandemic situation and scrupulously following the pertinent guidelines issued by Health Bureau to make corresponding arrangements promptly.
