In order to support the citywide nucleic acid test (NAT) plan for the entire population, especially for persons with reduced mobility in the residential facilities and the communities, the Social Welfare Bureau has coordinated with the Health Bureau to organize “Macao SAR Government Outreach NAT Service Team”, which has launched outreach NAT service since 27 September. Now it is estimated to provide NAT service for a total of more than 2500 elderly and disabled persons with reduced mobility who are living in 28 facilities, furthermore the team will provide NAT service for the persons with reduced mobility in their residential places.
During the citywide nucleic acid test (NAT) plan, the SAR Government has already opened 7 caring NAT stations, also there are special caring lines available in normal NAT stations specially for the persons in needs. Social Welfare Bureau announces that the persons who are living in residential facilities and communities, according to their physical conditions in outgoing, should go to NAT stations to have nucleic acid test as soon as possible by themselves or within the assistances from friends and neighbor.
