The DSEDJ greatly assists cross-border students who have returned to Macao

After receiving emergency notification from the health authority of a suspicious positive sample of the nucleic acid test this morning, the DSEDJ immediately announced the suspension of classes today until further notice. Staff members of the DSEDJ immediately went to schools and various entry and exit points to assist cross-border students and their parents that need help. The DSEDJ appeals to the cross-border students and their parents to not to stay near the entry and exit points, urges them to return to their residence in Macao or temporarily stay with their relatives and friends. If they do not have a place to live in Macao, they can go back to school first and the school will take care of them and settle them down in strict accordance with the epidemic prevention guidelines.

In addition, the DSEDJ has also coordinated the work of the schools that have a large number of cross-border students at the same time, sent staff to the above-mentioned entry and exit points to help students, urged schools, teachers and students to help one another. The DSEDJ and the schools are working together to coordinate the work of providing further support to relevant students. Please pay attention to the information announced by the government.
