In light of the development of the pandemic in Macao, and the need for its prevention and control, the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) announces that visits to the residents of all subsidized and non-subsidized residential homes by family and friends are suspended until further notice.
Family members with special needs can contact the residential homes to arrange a video visit if circumstances and conditions allow.
The IAS urges all the residential homes to strictly comply with the aforementioned measures and to scrupulously respect all guidelines relating to the prevention of epidemics, in particular, requiring all their workers to wear the mask properly and implement all preventive measures against contagion.
