MGTO maintains limited service during work exemption for civil servants

In line with pandemic prevention measures, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) maintains limited service during the period when civil servants are exempt from work from 5 – 7 October, with arrangements as follows:

Document submission

From 14:30 on 5 October to 7 October, MGTO will suspend its reception counter service at 12th floor of Hotline Building. The public can submit documents via the document collection box at the above location.

Online service

MGTO’s online service platforms will operate as usual providing the following service categories: license renewal for hotels/guest houses, restaurants, night clubs, bars and travel agencies; various applications for tour guide cards; online submission of quarterly reports, price lists and room rate declaration.

Submission of activity subsidy application and report

From 5 – 7 October, applicant entities can first send their documents for activity subsidy application and report to email: mgto@macaotourism.gov.mo. MGTO will regard the date of email sent as the date of submission. Original copies of documents can be submitted after the intensity of the pandemic situation subsides.

For any adjustments to the activities organized by community organizations, such as relocation of event venues, activity postponement or cancellation, please send the notification to email: mgto@macaotourism.gov.mo.

Tourist Information counter

MGTO’s Tourist Information counters are operating as usual to assist visitors (the Tourist Information counter at Ritz Building remains closed temporarily).

Tourism Hotline

MGTO's Tourism Hotline (853) 2833 3000 maintains its 24-hour operator service to tend to tourism-related enquiries.
