Most nucleic acid testing stations will be closed from 9:00 pm tonight. Residents should receive nucleic acid testing as soon as possible

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as the Response Coordination Centre) states that as of 4:00 pm on 6th October, more than 610,000 people have made a booking for the testing and 580,000 people have done it. According to the current progress, this mass nucleic acid testing can basically be completed by 9:00 pm tonight. Therefore, from 9:00 pm tonight, the arrangements for the testing stations will be adjusted. Only a small number of testing stations will remain open by then to handle the remaining testing work. The specific arrangements will be announced later.

The Response Coordination Center thanks all Macao residents for their full cooperation. At present, there are sufficient places in each testing station. In order to speed up the testing work and provide facilitation for residents, walk-in testing service is offered at the general testing stations where the waiting time is less than 15 minutes; an advance booking is not essential. And besides, no booking is needed for the caring testing stations; residents can do the testing anytime. Before leaving home, residents should pay attention to the real-time waiting data of each station, bring their identity document and a screenshot of the Health Code with them.
