IAM public services points to reopen to the public

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will resume public services tomorrow (8 October). The public services centres and their stations in various districts, the Integrated Services Centre in Edifício China Plaza, the Macao Government Services Centre in Areia Preta, the Macao Government Services Centre in Islands and the Municipal Kennels will operate as usual. The public are advised to pay attention to the arrangement.

With regard to quarantine and inspection of live animals and retail food for dogs and cats, as well as the procedures for processing import license/declaration and advance booking of inspections (food products), the service locations will resume regular arrangements.

To facilitate the epidemic prevention work, the activity centres, indoor facilities and venues, barbecue areas, free sports grounds and bicycle rental service in various districts under the management of IAM remain closed and suspended. The chess tables, pavilions, children’s playgrounds and other facilities in parks, gardens and leisure areas are also enclosed until further notice.

IAM continues to carry out cleaning and disinfection of public places and facilities and step up inspection and dissemination of information to establishments licensed and regulated by IAM. IAM calls on the public to comply with the epidemic prevention measures and pay attention to personal and environmental hygiene, reducing the risk of spreading the disease in the community with mutual efforts.
