Tropical storm “Lionrock” made the landfall over Hainan Island at 23 o’clock on the 8th. “Lionrock” has a broad circulation and is expected to move at a distance of about 500 km southwest of Macao this morning. Under the combined influence of “Lionrock” and the northeast monsoon, the weather in Macao will remain unstable, with frequent heavy showers and thunderstorms today and tomorrow.
Winds in Macao is expected to further strengthen, occasionally reaches wind force level 7-8 with gusts.
