The Signal No. 3 is still in effect. Signal No. 8 Southeast will be issued at 6 am on the 9th. At 5 am in the morning, the tropical storm "Lionrock" located at about 490 kilometers southwest of Macao, approaching the Gulf of Beibu. Under the combined influence of “Lionrock” and the northeast monsoon, gale wind will occasionally affect Macao this morning. The wind force will reach 7 to 8, with frequent heavy showers and thunderstorms.
As it is during the high phase of astronomical tide, under the joint effect of the astronomical high tide and strong winds, flooding is expected in the Inner Harbor tonight. The maximum flooding level is expected to be below 0.5m.
