Individuals intending to leave Macao via either a civil aviation flight or via a ferry service are now required to present a nucleic acid test certificate issued within 48 hours proving they are ‘negative’ for COVID-19 infection.
The updated rule became effective from noon today, as announced by the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.
Anyone contravening the rule may face mandatory isolation, in addition to any corresponding criminal liabilities, in accordance with the law.
