Applications to exhibit at the Macao Creative Pavilion in the Xiamen Cultural Industries Fair are open


The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will coordinate the participation of a delegation of Macao’s cultural and creative industries in the 14th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (hereinafter referred to as “CCCIF”) and will on that occasion set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion” to promote Macao’s cultural and creative products and services and the development and exchange of the cultural and creative industries between Fujian, Macao, and both sides of the Strait. Applications for the participation of the cultural sector local associations in the exhibition are open from 25 October to 7 November. Local cultural and creative organisations are welcome to submit applications.

The 14th CCCIF will be held at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center (XICEC) from 3 to 6 December 2021. The CCCIF is a large-scale cultural exhibition which counts with the participation of many cultural organisations from both sides of the Strait, and IC encourages Macao’s cultural and creative industries to make good use of the platform of the “Macao Creative Pavilion” to create opportunities for exchange and business cooperation and to actively expand their markets. Applicants must be local organisations related to the cultural and creative industries sector. The organiser will select ten local organisations to participate in the exhibition based on the number of cultural and creative entities, brands and products they bring to the exhibition, the originality, creativity and uniqueness of their products, and their enthusiasm in participating in the exhibition.

IC will closely monitor the development of the pandemic, strictly follow the relevant guidelines on conducting visits abroad and crowd gathering activities issued by the Health Bureau, implement appropriate measures for the activities, and would like to thank the members of the public for their understanding and co-operation.
