As the situation of the pandemic in Macao has gradually stabilised, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will reopen the community facilities under its management, such as activity centres, indoor facilities and venues, for public use on October 25. Interest classes, food safety training courses, application for rental of venue by groups, etc. will also be resumed. IAM will also continue to strengthen cleaning and consistently comply with the relevant disease prevention measures of the health department, so as to safeguard public hygiene and safety.
The venues reopened to the public include:
Activity centres in various districts: S. Domingos Activity Centre, S. Lourenço Activity Centre, Iao Hon Activity Centre, Rotunda de Carlos da Maia Activity Centre, Fai Chi Kei Activity Centre, Seac Pai Van Activity Centre, Patane Activity Centre, Edifício do Bairro da Ilha Verde Activity Centre and Ká Hó Activity Centre.
Indoor exhibition and educational venues: IAM Building, Commemorative Gallery of the Macao Basic Law, Chon Chou Tong and Iong Sam Tong Pavilion in Lou Lim Ioc Park, Macao Tea Culture House, Civic Education Resource Centre, Civic Education Kiosk at Praça de Ponte e Horta, Food Information Corner, Mong Há Eco-Centre, Guia Hill Military Tunnels, Guia Hill Nature Information Station, Activity Room of Flower City Park, Pavilion of Animal Specimens in Macao, Natural and Agrarian Museum, Macao Giant Panda Information Centre and Macao Giant Panda Gift Shop. (Exhibition Centre of The Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics remains temporarily closed due to ongoing preparation of exhibition.)
Indoor animal pavilions: Flora Park - Cute Animal Zone, Macao Giant Panda Pavilion and Pavilion of Rare Animals.
However, venues that usually close on Mondays will only open in the next day. To facilitate disease prevention work, the implementation of crowd control measures will be continued. The public are required to undergo temperature checks and display their green “Macao Health Code” upon entry to the venues and are advised to pay attention to and comply with the disease prevention work.
