This exhibition invited 32 contemporary artists from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as Japan, South Korea, Germany, France and Italy, among others, including the artists at the forefront of international contemporary art, Xu Jiang, Cao Xiaoyang, Ban Lingsheng, Bjorn Melhus, Ng Sio Ieng, Hirotoshi Sakaguchi, Davide Quayola, Jiang Zhi, Lu Yang, Liu Xuguang and Wong Ho Sang, as well as the emerging artists in contemporary art, to present intercultural and interdisciplinary experimental works in various forms of media such as painting, video, installation, AR/VR, reflecting the artists’ diverse value orientations and artistic identities as if through multiple faces of the prism. The exhibition takes the concept on multicultural coexistence through the multiple faces, angles and mutual observation formed in the prism, which is precisely the best representation of Macao as a world heritage city where Chinese and Western cultures intertwine.
