The 26th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (26th MIF), the Macao Franchise Expo 2021 (2021MFE) and the 2021 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2021PLPEX) will be held concurrently at The Venetian Macao from 10 to 12 December. Adhering to the mode of “three exhibitions in synergy with the integration of online and offline elements”, the three exhibitions assist traders from all over the world in exploring and expanding business opportunities, thus creating win-win results through both the online and offline platforms of the three exhibitions.
Gathering the advantages of the three exhibitions to expand business opportunities
The MIF, MFE and the PLPEX, the three annual exhibitions accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), join hands once again this year and continue to optimise their online and offline activities. There are around 920 exhibitors and 1,020 online exhibitors offering over 2,200 online exhibits. The online and offline exhibitors are from Mainland China, Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao.
To assist exhibitors in exploring and expanding business opportunities, the organisers will arrange online and offline buyers and procurement teams. As of 30 November, over 1,000 hosted buyers and online buyers from Mainland China, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Canada, Germany, Morocco, Spain, Macao and other regions are invited.
Strengthening the online functions and leveraging the advantages of online and offline platforms
The online exhibitions of the three fairs have introduced the function of “real-time online meeting” and established a synchronisation mechanism with the Online Business Matching Service Platform (BM Platform) to offer online and offline matching services in various forms. After registering for the “online matching” service on the BM Platform, exhibitors can send “meeting invitation” and make video conference appointment with traders/buyers; or use the “online business matching rooms” in the Macao Pavilion for business meetings.
To help exhibitors take the lead in seizing the business opportunities of the three exhibitions, the online matching will be conducted for 14 consecutive days (from 29 November to 12 December) prior to the exhibitions. In this case, purchasers and exhibitors can get to know the products in advance to have better matching results. Over 100 online matching sessions have been completed so far. During the exhibitions, influencers will be broadcasting at the live-streaming studios their photos and on-site visits. VR 360 will also be available to enhance the online exhibition experience. Over 20 live broadcasts and 80 online promotion seminars are expected to to assist exhibitors in promoting their products and services, complementing online and offline exhibitions so as to help traders achieve better results in the exhibitions through multiple channels.
