MGTO maintains limited service during work exemption for civil servants

In line with pandemic prevention measures, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) maintains limited service during the period when civil servants are exempt from work from 27 June to 1 July 2022, with arrangements as follows:

Document submission

From 09:00 on 27 June to 17:30 on 1 July, MGTO will suspend its reception counter service at 12th floor of Hotline Building. The public can submit documents via the document collection box at the above location.

Online service

MGTO’s online service platforms will operate as usual providing the following service categories: license renewal for travel agencies; various applications for tour guide cards; online submission of quarterly reports, price lists and room rate declaration.

Submission of subsidized activity report

From 27 June to 1 July, all reports of the specialized subsidy programs can be submitted through MGTO’s online platform when due. MGTO will regard the date of online submission as the report filing date. In addition, MGTO will notify relevant entity to submit the original copies of documents; if the subsidized entity failed to submit the report within 30 days after the activity has been completed, the entity must then fill in the “Request form for postponement of activity report submission”, and email to mgto@macaotourism.gov.mo.

Furthermore, all subsidized entities should suspend or postpone all activities funded by MGTO and ensure strict compliance with the Health Bureau’s guidelines against the pandemic.

Tourist Information counter

By far, MGTO’s Tourist Information counters at Border Gate, the Macau International Airport, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Frontier Post at Macao Port and Qingmao Frontier Post at Macao Port are operating as usual to assist visitors.

MGTO facilities

The Macau Grand Prix Museum and Ritz Building remain closed to the public.

Tourism Hotline

MGTO's Tourism Hotline (853) 2833 3000 maintains its 24-hour operator service to tend to tourism-related enquiries.
