Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau regularly announces the stock of COVID-19 rapid antigen test reagents in pharmacies Suppliers increase the supply of reagents, residents do not need to stock up


As the public feels concerned about the supply of the COVID-19 rapid antigen test reagents in Macao, Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau will announce the stock of reagents in local pharmacies on its website (www.isaf.gov.mo) and update the data every two hours.

In line with the business hours of most pharmacies, the daily survey time is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and the stock of reagents in each pharmacy may be adjusted due to actual sales situation.

Besides, the prices of different brands of COVID-19 rapid antigen test reagents are different due to packaging, brand, origin and cost. Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau has investigated that the current price of each reagent in local pharmacies ranges from over MOP 10 to MOP 50. In response to the epidemic situation in Macao, importers have increased the import volume of reagents, and it is expected that these reagents will be arrived Macao within this week. Macau Pharmacies Association also states that pharmacies will restock as soon as possible. At present, Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau has already approved 69 types of COVID-19 rapid antigen test reagents to import into Macao, the detection performance of the respective reagents has been recognized, it is not necessary for the public to buy specific brands or to stock up.
