In order to adapt to the public’s Internet usage habits and provide more diversified and updated services to the public, the Cultural Affairs Bureau has upgraded and optimised the Macao Cultural Heritage website, enriching the content of cultural heritage information on the website and enhancing visitors’ browsing experience and respective website functions. The new version of the website will be officially launched on 16 September and all are welcome to visit. The old version of the Macao Cultural Heritage website will be suspended for maintenance and updating, between 14 and 15 September.
The interface design has been optimised and multiple functions have been added to the new version of the website, including a restructured configuration, an enhanced accessibility design, shortcuts for frequently used services, more accessible positioning of cultural heritage sites’ information and easier overall navigation. In addition, the existing functions of the “Guided Tour Service”, “Information on the Progress of Comments Issued by the Cultural Affairs Bureau” and “Information from the Public about Macao’s Cultural Heritage” have also been upgraded. Users can also login to their “Macao One Account” to apply online for pre-emptive rights or precautionary measures over classified immovable properties and check on the progress of their applications directly.
