In order to promote cooperation between the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Macao in the cultural and creative industries sector, the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Cooperation Zone and the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) of the Macao SAR Government are jointly organising the “Macao.Hengqin Craft Market”, which will be held at Ocean Square outside Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom from 9 to 11 December. The call for booth operators will start today until 11:59pm on 3 November. All interested parties are welcome to apply and the application is free.
The Tap Siac Craft Market is a cultural and creative project developed under the “Culture and Tourism Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”. In order to promote artistic and cultural exchanges between the two regions, the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Cooperation Zone and IC are extending the Craft Market to Hengqin. The event will be held from 9 to 11 December (Friday to Sunday), from 2pm to 9pm, at Ocean Square outside Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. There will be 112 booths for Macao handicraft aficionados. Interested parties may log in to the “Craft Market Booth Operator Database” (www5.icm.gov.mo/craftmarketV2/) with their “Macao One Account” to submit application materials. The products registered must be original designs, and the minimum number of types of products for sale is 10. Services offering cultural and artistic experiences can also be included. If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of booths, successful applicants will be selected by drawing lots.
