Typhoon “Nalgae” is located about 590 km southeast of Macao, and is expected to move northward and slowly approach the coastal area of Guangdong.
Under the joint influence of “Nalgae” and the northeast monsoon, local winds will gradually intensify. Therefore, SMG will consider to issue Tropical Cyclone Signal No.3. before early morning on 1st of November.
It will be cloudy with occasional showers and cooler in the next couple of days.
In addition, due to the astronomical high tide in the next few days and the approaching of “Nalgae”, flooding is possible in the inner harbor area between mid-night to early morning on 2nd to 3rd of November. The public is advised to pay attention to the latest weather news.
