In order to further improve the public’s visiting experience of the exhibition “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time – Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s”, the respective opening hours will be adjusted to 10am to 6pm daily from 5 May (Friday) onwards and the duration of each session will be extended to 30 minutes. The public may purchase tickets online, or on-site, in order to enjoy a brand-new digital cultural tourism experience based on this Macao World Heritage site.
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the exhibition “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time – Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s” is an innovative cultural and tourism experience project in Macao. With the combination of digital technologies, the exhibition allows the public to enjoy the three-dimensional view of this World Heritage site in a brand-new way and to have a deeper knowledge about Macao’s history and culture.
The exhibition has been well-received by the public since its opening. In order to meet the needs of the public and continue to enrich their visiting experience, the opening hours of the exhibition will be adjusted from 5 May onwards, with the duration of each session being extended from 20 minutes to 30 minutes, and each session thereby being held every 30 minutes, noting that the exhibition will be open daily, from 10am to 6pm (including public holidays).
Tickets for the straight-hour timed sessions can be reserved in advance through the “Activity Registration” of the “Macao One Account” (activity.mo.gov.mo/activity-h5/activity-list-web), while tickets for half-hour timed sessions are available onsite (ticket counter located at the Information Desk of the Ruins of St. Paul’s). Tickets are priced at MOP$50, with a 50% discount offered to youngsters and senior citizens, respectively, aged 5 years old and under 18 years old, or aged 65 years old or more. In order to ensure the quality of the exhibition experience, participants must be aged 5 years old or more, and participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
