Typhoon "Talim" is located about 220 kilometers southwest of Macao and is expected to move northwest, towards the west coast of Guangdong. According to the current forecast track, "Talim" will maintain a distance about 200 kilometers away from Macao. The associated zone of gale wind will cover the Pearl River Delta area for some time, so Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 remains in force this afternoon. As "Talim" gets closer to the east coast of Guangdong, the wind direction is gradually change to east to southeast, and due to the absence of terrain barriers, winds over Macao will maintain. Furthermore, under the influence of the outer rain band of "Talim", the weather will be unstable, with occasional heavy rain and thunderstorms.
