The Latest Issue of MPU Magazine Sprouting is Now Released

The latest issue of Macao Polytechnic University's magazine Sprouting is now released and focuses on innovation and sustainable development, highlighting the latest advancements in sustainable development at Macao Polytechnic University. It showcases how MPU leverages cutting-edge technology, interdisciplinary research, and international cooperation to drive comprehensive development in education, economics, and culture.

The first feature introduces MPU's research in nanomagnetic fields, unveiling a new mechanism for generating polar skyrmions. This innovation offers fresh perspectives and foundational strategies for the development of semiconductor materials, optimising the size and performance of electronic devices, and fostering opportunities for related industry growth. Another feature highlights an advanced dual-camera system for tracking the behaviour of aquatic model organisms in real time and three dimensions. This system enhances the precision of data used for further research in ecological conservation and environmental management.

In the interview section, the magazine features two computer science graduates working as software engineers at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Wang Songyi and Dong Junhao. They share their experiences of pursuing dreams and career growth at a leading international company. Additionally, renowned global linguist Teng Feng offers insights into the art of foreign language teaching. He explores the importance of language learning from both psychological and educational perspectives, providing valuable perspectives on effective language acquisition strategies.

The campus update captures the vibrant moments of MPU students engaged in research, service, competitions, and exhibitions, illustrating their multifaceted view of the world and their achievements in knowledge and skills.
