Chief Executive to visit Xiamen for Investment and Trade Fair


The Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah is scheduled leave for Xiamen tomorrow to attend the opening of the “9th China International Fair for Investment and Trade”. Mr Ho is scheduled to speak at the International Investment Forum of the Fair Thursday morning, 8 September. The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen, who is to head an 80-member entrepreneurs delegation to the fair, will be with the delegation from the Portuguese-speaking countries at a presentation on investment environment and policies of Portuguese-speaking countries. The “9th China International Fair for Investment and Trade” is organised by the Ministry of Commerce. While Mr Ho is away, the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Mr Chui Sai On, will be Acting Chief Executive.
