The Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah, will leave for Beijing on 2 September to attend the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of China's victory in the war of resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory of the world's war against fascism. The commemoration is to be held in the morning of 3 September. During his stay in Beijing, Mr Ho will also attend a variety show in the evening of September 2. While Mr Ho is away from Hong Kong, the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
