Macao SAR Passport Holders are Granted Visa-free Access to Greenland and Faroe Islands


The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) was informed by the Royal Danish Consulate General in Hong Kong, that the holders of the Macao SAR Passport have been exempted from visa requirements when visiting Greenland and Faroe Islands for a stay up to three months during any six-month period. Presently, a total of 74 countries and territories have already agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to the Macao SAR passport holders, including 57 countries and 15 territories with mutual visa exemption, and 2 countries granting visa upon arrival.
