Henan launches promotion campaign in Macao


The Henan Provincial Government today unveiled a trade promotion seminar and a photo exhibition in Macao, with the Chief Executive, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah, attending the opening ceremony. On behalf of the Macao SAR Government, Mr Ho received a gift, a bronze vessel, from the Henan Provincial Government. Speaking at the seminar to introduce the business attractions in Henan, the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Francis Tam Pak Yuen, said the central China province occupied an important strategic location on the Mainland and enjoy excellent advantages in manufacturing, agriculture and pasturage industries. He said he hoped that Macao and Henan could co-operate in trading and tourism industries under the framework of CEPA (Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement).
