Macao Fashion Gallery, an entity jointly established by Cultural Affairs Bureau and of Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM), will host a seminar on "How to build an International Fashion Brand" at 5:00 pm, Saturday, 2nd November 2013 at Macao Science Center. Two well-known Portuguese fashion designers will be invited to share their personal experience on how they created their fashion brands with people from the local fashion design industry. Everyone from the fashion industry or has an interest in the topic is welcome to attend. In coordination with the "Forum on Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries" Ministerial Summit, which is held by the Macao SAR Government in Macao, the organizer has especially invited fashion designer Clara Brito of local fashion brand LINES LAB and fashion designer Nuno Baltazar of Portuguese fashion brand NUNO BALTAZAR ATELIER to speak at this seminar. They will talk about how they established their fashion brands and illuminate on the current and future development opportunities of Macao and Portuguese fashion industry. The objective of the seminar is to strengthen communication between the Macao and Portuguese fashion communities as well as to offer professional insights and valuable experience on fashion brand building to young designers of Macao. The seminar will be held at Hall 3 and 4 of the Macao Science Center at 5:00 pm on Saturday, 2nd November 2013. The seminar will be conducted in Portuguese with simultaneous interpretation to Cantonese. Local fashion designers, students, and manufacturers are welcome to participate. As seats are limited, please enroll as early as possible.
